Tax Law & Structuring (UAE corporate tax, VAT for crypto) covers legal assessment, documentation and practical support in the UAE. It is typically relevant to businesses, investors and founders establishing or operating under federal, emirate-level or free-zone rules. The applicable requirements and competent authority depend on the activity, place of establishment and where the service or transaction is performed.
For Dubai outside DIFC, the VARA regime must be checked; DMCC commercial licensing is separate. The DFSA is competent in DIFC and the FSRA in ADGM. Federal requirements may also apply depending on the activity.

UAE crypto businesses must assess federal corporate tax and VAT separately from virtual-asset licensing. We advise under the Corporate Tax Law and applicable Qualifying Free Zone Person rules, and assess VAT treatment under the VAT legislation as amended, including transfers, conversions and separately supplied services. The Federal Tax Authority administers both regimes.
For crypto businesses operating in mainland UAE or free zones, we determine the applicable tax regime, structure operations to qualify for available exemptions or reduced rates, and ensure that the VAT treatment of token sales, exchange commissions, and custody fees is correctly assessed.
