Data Protection Specialist
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Data Protection specialist to join our growing team of legal professionals.
The critical elements of the sought profile are as follows:
- Experience with the entire process of GDPR compliance implementation, including building up the internal framework governing the way an organization processes the personal data of staff, customers, providers, or any other data subjects;
- Skills to map organizational operations;
- Ability to perform their duties independently;
- Ability to interpret the GDPR rules in the context of innovative technological models;
- Legal experience;
- Fluency in Bulgarian and English.
The essential obligations of the Data Protection Specialist would include, among others:
- Ensure that our client’s controllers and data subjects are informed about their data protection rights, obligations, and responsibilities according to the current national and international law and raise awareness about those;
- Provide advice and recommendations to our clients about the interpretation or application of relevant data protection rules and regulations;
- Ensure data protection compliance for our client’s organizations policies, processes and assist clients in understanding their accountability in this respect;
- Handle queries or complaints on request by our clients, their data controllers, or their relevant third parties;
- Alert our clients to any risk or failure to comply with the applicable data protection rules;
- Participate in other high-end legal projects of the firm.

Law Intern
We are looking for individuals willing to match their ambitions to grow professionally with a solid work ethic and expertise. We currently have an opportunity for an intern – university law student 3rd or 4th year or a recent graduate to join our growing team of legal professionals and build a career with us.
The critical requirements of the desired profile are:
- Fluency in English;

We expect the successful interns to:
- Follow new developments in the legal and business fields that fall into the scope of interest of our clients;
- Do extensive research, including review of court practice, academic interpretation, administrative procedures, and searching for best practices applied in a particular case;
- Prepare drafts of contracts and other legal documents;
- Participate proactively in different working groups to enhance the firm’s practice in a particular legal field.
